Wright Park
The "Pool of Pines" or better known as Wright Park features a shallow elongated rectangular man-made pool of water. It was named after the architect, Governor Luke E. Wright (who ordered architect Daniel Burnham to build Baguio as a recreational facility for American soldiers and civilians).

On July 12, 2006, a news was reported in Sun Star that rehabilitation of Wright Park was being pushed. Following is an excerpt from the news:
"THE City Buildings and Architecture Office (Cbao) and the City Environment and Parks Management Office (Cepmo) were asked last Tuesday by the City Council to prepare a program of work for the rehabilitation of the Wright Park.
Stressing that the park's regular maintenance is not enough for it to be locally and globally competitive as a tourist destination, the City Council committee on tourism, parks and playgrounds said requesting the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA) to fund the area might advance needed improvements for the park. "In order to proactively participate in the tourism development of our city, there is a need to rehabilitate the Wright Park and restore its former grandeur as a premier tourist destination," the committee said.
Located near The Mansion, horseback riding is the Wright Park's main tourist attraction.
The Cepmo earlier submitted to the City Council a rehabilitation plan for some of the city's major parks but further discussion on the subject was deferred pending the submission of a more detailed plan of work. (RO) "
